ZAMBIA will soon begin the rolling out of the Sinopharm vaccine against Covid-19.
Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary, KENNEDY MALAMA however says the vaccine will be administed in selected districts.
Dr Malama said the governmet continues to administer the AstraZeneca and Johnson and Johnson vaccines being currently administered.
He has since encouraged the public to consider being vaccinated during this period before the anticipated fourth wave at the end of this year into early next year.
Dr Malama says vaccination against COVID-19 remains a high impact intervention as it protects one from hospitalization, severe disease and death.
Dr MALAMA says the country has enough vaccines will continue to acquire additional doses.

Meawhile, In the last 24 hours the country recorded One Hundred and Thirty (130) new confirmed COVID-19 cases out of 3,777 tests.
